Get ready to experience three action packed days of competitions, food and entertainment at the Coolgardie Rodeo & Ute Muster, presented by Outback Rodeos! Located just 20 minutes drive from Kalgoorlie-Boulder the event takes place Friday 16th - Sunday 18th August 2024 and is to be held at the Old Coolgardie Golf Course on the western edge of the town.

The main event of the Coolgardie Rodeo, starts at the official rodeo site from 12pm onwards including Bull Riding, Barrel Racing and Bareback bronc riding not to mention yummy Food Stalls, kids entertainment and Live Music continuing on into the evening. Immerse yourself in the full outback rodeo experience with free on site camping. Register your details with your ticket booking to secure your place.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

LICENSED VENUE NO BYO

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Free admission for Children under 12.

Please present student ID upon request at the gate.

FREE EVENT CAMPING

The Coolgardie Rodeo has a free camping area adjacent to the event, available Thursday (from 5pm), Friday and Saturday nights. The campsite is located 1 km from the town centre. First come first served- please register for free camping with your ticket booking to secure your place. (Add On Section) .

Please note there will be limited facilities - toilets and non potable water tank only.

Coolgardie Caravan Park is recommended for vans & motorhomes (book early to avoid disappointment).

RODEO SHUTTLE BUS

Take advantage of our bus services on Rodeo day Saturday 19th August, $25p/p for adults and children. First come first served. Shuttle bus service will continue throughout the morning and evening until times listed below so if you miss one bus you can grab the next one.

Rodeo Bound, Kalgoorlie - Coolgardie

First bus departs 8:30am from Kalgoorlie Boulder Visitor Centre, Kalgoorlie Town Hall, Wilson Street. Arriving 9:00am at Coolgardie Oval in time for Ute Muster.

Last bus departs 11:00am from Kalgoorlie Boulder Visitor Centre, Kalgoorlie Town Hall, Wilson Street. Arrive 11:30am at Coolgardie Rodeo Grounds.

Homeward bound, Coolgardie - Kalgoorlie

First bus departs 10:00pm from Coolgardie Rodeo Grounds. Arrive 10:30pm Kalgoorlie Boulder Visitor Centre

Last bust departs 11:30pm from Coolgardie Rodeo Grounds. Arrive 12 midnight Kalgoorlie Boulder Visitor Centre.

Can I get a refund if I can't make it?

If the event is cancelled by Outback Rodeos Inc. due to unforeseen circumstances including Covid 19 government regulations, a partial refund will be given.

If you withdraw from the event more than two weeks prior to the event a 100% refund will be given.

If you withdraw from the event less than two weeks before the event date, no refund will be given.

Can I Buy Tickets at the Gate?

Due to government regulations on major events we will have NO GATE SALES to clearly monitor the number of attendees and to avoid dissappointment.

Can I bring my dog?

No. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed. Although we love dogs, there is the risk of them eating 1080 baits which are throughout the Shire of Coolgardie to stop feral dogs. Guide dogs are accepted.

Are there ATM facilities?

EFTPOS transactions will be available at the event, but no cash out facilities. ATM facilities are available in Coolgardie.

Is there a Medical Centre onsite?

We have engaged the services of 2 x ambulances & paramedics on site at the Rodeo. St Johns will have their tent setup for the daytime and during the event but there is no actual medical centre.
