What is the Cookbook Club?

The Cookbook Club is a monthly gathering where participants select, cook, and share recipes from a chosen cookbook. It's a fun way to explore new recipes, improve your cooking skills, and enjoy a variety of dishes with fellow food enthusiasts.

What should I bring to the meeting?

Please bring the dish you’ve prepared from the selected cookbook, utensils to serve your dish, and a takeaway container for leftovers. We’ll provide plates, cutlery, and serviettes.

Is there a fee to join?

Yes, there’s a $5 fee per meeting for plates, serviettes, and decorations. Eventbrite processes payments and adds a fee. The club fee is refundable if you cancel at least 7 days before the event. This helps secure your spot due to limited space.

How do we claim recipes from the book?

To keep things organized (and avoid duplicates!), we’ll share a spreadsheet where everyone can claim their preferred recipe from the book. Just add your name next to your chosen dish, and you’re all set to cook and share it at the meeting!

Join us for our March food club meeting! This month, we’ll be cooking from Lucky Dragon Supper Club by Stephanie Feher — a book full of flavour, stories, and creative dishes.

You can find the book at the library, grab a second-hand copy, buy it new, or ask a fellow member to share some photos of recipes. Once you’ve chosen your dish, claim it on our shared spreadsheet so we don’t have any duplicates.
