Connection through Creativity - Intergenerational Art Project for Seniors
5-week series of intergenerational painting workshops for seniors.
Under the guidance of your art teacher, you will create a stunning artwork alongside your partner. Inspired, strong intergenerational friendships will be nurtured as participants explore their creativity. You will leave with a beautiful painting each week.
Please book in for each session you can attend in the 5-week series. Spots are limited. You may book for all 5 sessions.
Programs run 10.00am -12.30pm on Wednesday 19th August, 26th August, 2nd September, 9th September and 16th September.
For 60-year-old people and over.
They will be partnered with a young participant from Australian Catholic University provided by Good Neighbours Australia.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
GOOD NEIGHBOURS AUSTRALIA continues to keep the community’s best interests at heart with their Intergenerational Art Project. Previously, seniors and young adults from the multicultural community were brought together during weekly art classes to promote emotional wellbeing and build social cohesion.
ABOUT THE VENUE:
MARRICKVILLE LIBRARY is accessible by lift from both the street and ground levels.
