Connect Sydney: Asset Based Community Development

Training for youth, children and family sector community organisations

Connect Sydney is hosting the Jeder Institute's Asset Based Community Development workshop for community organisations.

This full day face to face workshop is designed to build capacity for sector workers and volunteers who want to understand ABCD approach that recognises and builds upon the strengths and resources of individuals and communities to support strong, inclusive and sustainable communities.

Limit of two people per organisation.

This workshop is part of the City of Sydney's Connect Sydney program, funded by the Department of Communities and Justice. The program aims to build the capacity of community and not-for-profit organisations through the provision of free skills and governance training for organisations that support and provide services to children, young people, families and communities experiencing or at risk of vulnerability within the City of Sydney local government area.
