"Concentration bring their ferocious live show to Northcote Social Club to celebrate the release of 'Premature' on Thin Visitor; a heaving suite of surly art punk laced with off-kilter forays into dub, IDM and ambient.
Inspired by their experiences contributing music for the Tokyo photography exhibition Hikari no oto, Premature is a more refined offering from the band, yet the passages of tranquility still unspool into the nihilistic madness that make Concentration’s live act so unique. Lyrically, Premature serves the same agenda; a series of vignettes detailing pathetic masculinity in all its bizarre manifestations. Early releases from the band's debut have seen high rotation on NTS radio.
Coming off the back of a sold-out show at Republic, the band will cut the ribbon on 'Premature' with the help of local noise rock legends No Sister and punk techno provocateur Tackle plus a rotating cast of guest performers. See them before they enter hibernation for album number two."
