About this event

  • 1 day 8 hours

Social agility and interpersonal skills are arguably the most important things to learn for happy and healthy relationships. Yet it doesn’t necessarily come easy or naturally, because we have not been taught how to do it.

The good news is it can be learned!

In this comprehensive training, you will:

✅ Sharpen your empathy skills in interactions with family, friends, and colleagues
✅ Acquire practical tools to de-escalate conflicts and foster collaboration
✅ Transform habits of blame, anger, or defensiveness
✅ Speak authentically and confidently without being authoritarian or a pushover
✅ Assert yourself while maintaining a strong connection with others
✅ Listen to challenging messages with a filter of compassion
✅ Gain clarity on your desires and learn effective communication strategies
✅ Develop overall proficiency as a communicator

This Foundational course covers all the basic principles and practices of the Nonviolent Communication model (NVC) by Dr.Marshall Rosensberg.

This is an in-person weekend workshop with a certified NVC Trainer.

DATE: 1st & 2nd June 2024 9:00 am- 5:00 pm daily.

Crows Nest Cente, Sydney, NSW

The course content combines theory, group discussion, and exercises in a relaxed group setting. You will receive a workshop manual and can work through your real-life examples.
