Community Crafts is on the first Thursday of each month from 10am to 12pm. Meeting at the big table on the Ground Floor of Burnie Library.

Take the opportunity to work on those unfinished crafty projects, learn a variety of crafts from others in the group and/or enjoy some mindfulness colouring resources (supplied).

Regularly participating in art and craft activities is not only a lot of fun it can also improve our wellbeing including the following benefits:

  • improving mood and self-confidence,
  • reducing stress,
  • enhancing mental agility,
  • improving gross and fine motor movement,
  • decreasing cognitive decline, and
  • connecting with others.

Please bring your own crafting supplies. There will be mindfulness colouring resources supplied for those who don’t have a craft project to work on.
