Community Collective for Support Workers
Community Collective for Support Workers is a relaxed, in-person catch-up created just for support workers.
The Community Collective for Support Workers is a new event created just for support workers — by people who value your work and understand your world.
This is the first event of its kind, bringing support workers together for a relaxed and informal catch-up. It’s a safe, welcoming space to connect, share stories and ask questions.
Our first Community Collective is launching in Newcastle, with many more events planned across Australia. This event includes a friendly panel discussion, designed to spark honest conversation and practical insights.
Whether you:
- are already working as a support worker
- are thinking about starting a career in support work
- Have questions but aren’t sure who to ask
- Want to hear how other support workers handle similar situations
- Feel isolated in your role and want to feel more connected
- Want to build peer relationships outside of work hours
— this space is for you.
What’s included:
- Finger food
- One drink with your ticket
- A supportive, down-to-earth environment
We’re proud to be delivering this event in partnership with the Support Workers Association of Australia (SWAA).
SWAA members receive a discount on tickets.
Come as you are. Leave feeling connected, supported, and reminded that you’re not doing this work alone.
