The Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) now offers continuing professional development (CPD) Type 2 sessions that property managers and agents can attend to meet their mandatory CPD requirements.
Thursday 26 March 2026
9:00am to 11:30am (doors open from 8:30am)

During this session you will gain an understanding of:
- the importance of communication and self-resolution skills
- the tenancy lifecycle and where disputes may occur
- tips and strategies to resolve disputes
- the difference between an RTA dispute and a BCCM dispute
- RTA’s free dispute resolution service
- QCAT process.
This 2.5 hour face-to-face session explores the communication approaches and dispute resolution strategies that help property managers and agents manage tenancy issues more effectively.
You will have the opportunity to participate in case study discussions within the group and ask our expert team questions about Queensland tenancy law.
After the session, you will walk away with practical information to support effective communication and dispute management in your daily practices.
