About this event

Hosted by leading expert in end-of-life communication, Professor Peter Martin, this intensive workshop provides a unique opportunity for clinicians to:

  • Share and discuss the common challenges as they relate to chronic life-limiting illness
  • Refine how to individualise recommendations for diverse patient cohorts
  • Refine strategies for patients who request care and interventions that seem to be discordant from their own goals
  • Explore effective communication strategies when faced with complex family dynamics
  • Refine advanced communication skills that empower people to explore their advance care wishes.

The small-group format provides a comfortable setting for exploring the topic in depth with the support of Peter and a highly trained OCPH simulated patient.

Strictly limited places.
