A monthly showcase of local and international comics at The Old Commodore Hotel, presented by The Comedy Store.

Comedy Wednesdays are officially landing at The Old Commodore, kicking off Wednesday 21 January and running on the second-to-last Wednesday of every month.

Tickets are $25 and the laughs start right on 8pm, so why not make a night of it? Come in early for dinner and catch Happy Hour from 4–6pm before the show.

JANUARY LINE-UP:

PAUL DOUGLAS (NZ) – Winner of Best Live Show and Best Gag at the New Zealand Comedy Guild Awards. One of the busiest working comedians in NZ, Paul has also appeared on Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee (ABC).

RAY BADRAN – Back in his hometown for a limited time after a residency in London, this local favourite is better than ever.

ANTHONY SALAME – A legend of the Australian comedy scene, Anthony’s joke writing and storytelling abilities are second to none.

JESS FUCHS – Fierce, funny and incredibly quick-witted, Jess has returned to Sydney after tearing up stages in New York.

JOSEPH GREEN – A Melbourne International Comedy Festival darling and a favourite on the Melbourne comedy scene, Joseph’s hilarious storytelling has to be seen to be believed.

LAUREN BONNER – As seen on ABC’s Question Everything and Stan’s Lockdown Comedy Festival, Lauren is a side-splittingly hilarious comedian whose joke rate is out of this world.

ALEKS MILINKOVIC – An online sensation and a favourite on the Sydney comedy scene, Aleks’s comedic timing and joke writing are out of this world!
