Many ground breaking inventions and innovations start with a basic question or observation: a need for improvement, a gap in the market, or a new way to solve an old problem.

Council is offering local innovators an opportunity for a subsidised INNOVIC client consultation. As part of the consultation, you will receive a confidential and objective feedback on the likely viability of your idea, including:

• Idea Assessment
• Grants Assistance
• Indicative Development Costs

Council is pleased to support local innovation through the Managed Commercialisation Program, delivered by INNOVIC. This comprehensive program helps inventors and start-ups take their ideas to market through structured, expert-led guidance.

Once the non-refundable $35 fee is received, Council’s Investment and Economic Development Unit will send you more information, including a detailed registration form to get started.

This fee (subsidised by Council) covers the cost of an initial report, valued at $225, to help assess the potential of your idea. Your consultation is with INNOVIC CEO Richard Milne. It’s the first step in the Managed Commercialisation Program.

The full INNOVIC Managed Commercialisation Program program consists of two tailored phases, each providing expert guidance and support to help bring your idea to market.
