Comic Con-versation: Funny comic workshop

In this comic making workshop, you'll learn the basics of creating a four-panel comic, then unleash whatever funny and chaotic ideas are floating around in your head.

Guided by comic maker Scott Wrigg, you'll learn how to structure a comic and develop a visual punchline. Once you've got the basics down, you'll have plenty of time to create your own comics in a free-form, supportive environment. Take your creations home, or even swap and share your funniest works with new friends.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

SCOTT WRIGG is a comic maker and designer based in Sydney's Inner West, on Gadigal and Wangal land. His short comics have been exhibited and published in anthologies across Australia and the UK. His work has featured in Behind the Lines, and he is a regular contributor to Sydney's Read To Me. Scott has also self-published multiple comic books and zines. He loves his long-arm stapler.
