This Friday we are back upstairs at Madocke with a line up of the best comedians from around Australia and internationally at one of the Gold Coast's newest and coolest breweries. Belgian beers, big laughs and the perfect way to knock-off for the week every Friday night.
May 10th we have a killer show lined up for you with Aus stand up veteran Ro Campbell coming all the way from Melbourne to headline for one night only. Ro is a phenomenal joke-writer and storyteller with decades of experience in the funny business. Trust us when we say you don't want to miss a chance seeing him live and doing what he does best. Joining him to host the show is the infamous crusher and fellow stalwart Nick Sun to warm us up and introduce our hand-picked selection of the finest up and coming support acts currently working the east coast comedy scene. We can't wait to see you there.
You may remember Ro Campbell from his role as Darryl the nasty bully who beat up a deaf boy and stole his hearing aid in 1988 Emmy award winning film Captain Johnno, but its highly unlikely. Since then the UK based Aussie has wowed audiences in over 40 countries with his relentlessly entertaining brand of cheeky slightly dark humour. He has also written for British TV and Radio, featured regularly on BBC Radio in topical panel shows, history shows and live stand up recordings. He has made numerous solo show appearances at Glasgow International Comedy Festival, NZ Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Perth Fringeworld, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and performed extensively on the club circuit in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia and Australia.

Alongside our range of award winning beers we also serve QLD wines, artisan spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.
While our main taproom is wheelchair accessible, our upstairs and function room where Comedy is held is not. If you require assistance please call in advance as we may be able to accommodate some accessibility requests.
