Archery is a sport for everyone no matter your age, ability or skill level!
We encourage everyone to come along and try archery and have some fun. It’s a fantastic sport and you’ll make lots of friends along the way and become part of a great community. We’ll also let you in on a secret, nothing beats hitting your very first gold. But you’ll have to come and try it for yourself.
The Bathurst Archers Come and Try Archery sessions run from 10am to 12pm each Saturday morning weather permitting. Each session costs $10.00 and all necessary equipment is provided. Tickets available here secure you place in a Come and Try Archery session. Payment must be made at the club on arrival and before shooting commences.
Beginners get a 12 week temporary membership. Once the temporary membership has expired you MUST join the the club to continue shooting.
* We ask that everyone arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork and get equipped. All equipment is provided by the club.

The cost of each session is $10.00 which includes all necessary equipment.
We recommend everyone arrive at least 15 minutes early. On your first visit there will be some paperwork to complete and our coaches will help find the right equipment for you. After your first session arriving 15 minutes early will allow you to get your equipment and get ready to start shooting.
Beginners are given free temporary membership for 12 weeks. After the temporary membership has expired you MUST join the club if you wish to continue shooting.
For beginners we prefer that you use the club's equipment because we know that it has been properly maintained. However, you are welcome to bring your equipment so that our coaches can assess its suitability for use at the club's range.
We have two beginners archery lanes with targets. There are also picnic tables, and male and female toilets. The club has a small amount of food (such as chips) and soft drinks available for purchase. The club also has a small amount of archery equipment for sale.
Current adult annual membership is $163.20. This gives you membership of Archery Australia, Archery NSW, and Bathurst Archers. Shooting fees are $5.00 per session for members. You may continue to use club equipment when starting out. However, we encourage you to purchase your own equipment.
