Come and Meet Eddie Betts

Eddie's books, MY KIND and MY PEOPLE, aim to make reading fun. Eddie hopes you can join him in this kindness movement and help grow the lil' homies crew.

Eddie's books will be available for purchase on the day for $20. You can have your books signed and get a photograph with Eddie. There will be activities to enjoy while you are waiting. Bring ID to join the library and receive your membership card and access to our digital library.

Tickets

Please book a ticket for all members of your party aged over 12 months. Tickets must be presented on entry. Remember, if you are unwell, please do not attend. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket as there may be others on a waiting list. Doors open at 9.00am on the day and we encourage everybody to arrive at least 30 minutes before the event start time to ensure you are seated in time.

Refreshments

The cafe will be open with healthy food options available for purchase. Please bring your own water bottles for filling.

Photography and Video

This event will be photographed/videos and images may be used on social media or in print form. Please see a staff member if you do not wish to be photographed.

Accessibility Information

There is parking at the centre including disabled parking spaces. Please follow staff directions when parking. If you are able to ride-share, please do.

There are bus stops on Washington Street and Kosciusko Street.

The Gippsland Indoor Regional Sports Stadium has:

• Wheelchair accessibility
• All abilities toilet
• Portable Assistive Listening System available (please let us know if needed in advance)
• Quiet room

** Eddie will be available for book signing, and kicking the football / taking photos with participants for approximately 1 hour from 11.00am to 12.00pm and we cannot guarantee that everybody will get a turn. People who arrive early will be given priority in the queue.
