Collegium Musicum Choir Registrations Term 1, 2026

Register as a member of Collegium Musicum Choir for 2026. New members must complete a voice placement prior to registration.

The UNSW large choir known as the Collegium Musicum Choir was founded in 1975 by Professor Roger Covell and Dr Patricia Brown, and has a long tradition of performing choral-orchestral works and Christmas programs at UNSW to a semi-professional standard. The choir's membership includes undergraduate students from across the university, as well as postgraduates, staff and members of the community - all are welcome.

Rehearsals are every Wednesday 5:00-8.00pm during term at the Sir John Clancy Auditorium, conducted by Sonia Maddock.

Please note: new choir members must complete a Voice Placement prior to registration.
If you are new to CMC, please email cmc@unsw.edu.au to book a time to complete this step before O Week. Voice Placements will be held by appointment on Wednesday, 11 February 2026 in room G14 of the Robert Webster Building. New members, please don’t be concerned – a voice placement is simply determining whether you sing high or low, and what part best suits your voice! For enquiries please contact cmc@unsw.edu.au

The first rehearsal will be on Wednesday, 18 February 2026, 5-8pm at the Sir John Clancy Auditorium. Please register before the first rehearsal, however we accept registrations up until Term 1 Census: 12 March 2026.
