As most vaccinations are provided in primary care settings, it’s essential that immunisation providers stay up to date with the latest vaccines for preventable diseases, current immunisation schedules, and best practice guidelines. There’s plenty to learn in the immunisation space!
Learning objectives
- Understand the latest updates to the Immunisation Schedule
- Evaluate the various vaccine options available to adults, and when to offer them in a primary care setting
- Evaluate the various vaccine options available to children and when to offer them in a primary care setting
- Apply and use resources available to support providing immunisations in primary care.
Who should attend?
GPs, GP registrars, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, aged care workers and Aboriginal health practitioners.
CPD points?
A certificate of attendance will be provided for self-reporting for their 2 hours of education.
