Coffee and Craft is a therapeutic group program designed for people aged over 18 who are supporting a loved one with a mental health challenge

This workshop provides a safe, welcoming and confidential space for carers to connect with others who understand the realities of supporting a loved one with a mental health challenge. Facilitated by experienced Helping Minds staff, the group focuses on connection, emotional support, shared understanding and practical wellbeing strategies.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Share experiences and concerns in a supportive and non-judgemental environment
  • Connect with other Mental Health Carers who understand the carer journey
  • Build confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing
  • Learn about resources, services and supports available to carers
  • Enjoy light refreshments while building meaningful connections

This group is therapeutic and peer-supported, offering emotional support and education. It is not a clinical or counselling service.

Free - This program is funded by the Mental Health Commission to adults who are impacted by mental health challenges within their family or environment.

  • A member of the Helping Minds team will contact you to complete the registration and eligibility process.
