Design and create games, program robots, and build on your problem solving and team work skills. In these Code2Create classes, you will learn how to program M-Bots and Ozobots through completing this interactive 8-week course.Code2Create will run every Monday afternoon 4-5pm during term. The schedule is:Week 1 - Monday 1 AugustWeek 2 - Monday 8 August Week 3 - Monday 15 AugustWeek 4 - Monday 22 August Week 5 - Monday 29 August Week 6 - Monday 5 September Week 7 - Monday 12 SeptemberWeek 8 - Monday 19 September Your booking will cover all 8 classes. This event is suitable for kids aged 7 to 14 years.Before attending this 8-week course: 1. Parents need to create a Scratch account for their child before the first class. <a href="https://scratch.mit.edu/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Visit the Scratch website and click &quot;Join Scratch&quot;</a>.2. Participants need to know the login for the Scratch account.3. Participants need their own device - laptops are preferred.4. Participants need to be able to code at an intermediate to advanced level.5. To ensure the safety of all participants, no food can be brought or consumed during the program.6. Parents/Carers of children under 10 years should remain in the Library during this activity and all other children are to be collected promptly at the advertised finishing time. Please be aware of the following conditions of booking:<ul><li>This is a 8 week course, run every Monday afternoon during term for 1 hour. Attendance is required each week. </li><li>Bookings are essential</li><li>Every child attending needs a ticket </li><li>Please be ready to show your ticket - either show us on your phone or print your ticket</li><li>If you can’t make it, please cancel your booking so someone else can attend</li><li>If you or your child feel unwell, please stay home</li><li>Staff are here to help, not to be hurt. Aggressive and abusive behaviour will not be tolerated</li><li>Parents/guardians of children under 10 must remain in the library during the activity</li></ul>
