Across four bold and contrasting works, CODA showcases the exceptional talent and versatility of the Transit Pre-Professional Performing Arts, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, and High School Academy students. Each piece bursts with energy, passion, and individuality, capturing the boundless creativity of the next generation of performers.

From the neon nostalgia of PROM and the raw intensity of PRODIGY, to the timeless sophistication of IN CONCERT: CHICAGO and the unapologetic power of RIOT, this exhilarating program delivers a breathtaking journey through dance, music, and storytelling. PROM (by High School Academy)

Step back into the neon-lit chaos of an ’80s high school dance, where sequins, heartbreak and freedom collide. PROM celebrates nostalgia, youth and self-expression through infectious choreography, big pop energy and unapologetic fun. Expect high-octane movement and a heart-racing soundtrack that turns the stage into the ultimate school-formal fantasy.

PRODIGY (by Pre-Professional Contemporary)

A dark, high-intensity contemporary work inspired by the pulsing soundscape of The Prodigy. Within its charged atmosphere, PRODIGY explores the body’s architecture - a vessel for transformation, suspended between the organic and the unknown. Dancers morph between human and otherworldly states in a visceral display of power and control, fusing industrial rhythms with raw, futuristic movement

IN CONCERT: CHICAGO (by Pre-Professional Musical Theatre)

A striking reimagining of Chicago presented in concert form, stripped back, and bold. Featuring the iconic music of Kander & Ebb, this production blends elegance and grit to expose the glamour and corruption at the heart of showbiz. Performed with exquisite precision, IN CONCERT: CHICAGO is a celebration of sophistication, danger and timeless allure.

RIOT (by Pre-Professional Performing Arts)

An unapologetic celebration of rebellion, chaos, and female power. RIOT tears through the streets with wild, high-energy choreography set to a soundtrack of iconic pop anthems. It captures the raw strength of women claiming space, demanding attention, and rewriting the rules. Expect grit, fire, and a fearless surge of freedom in this explosive dance revolution.
