Coaching Workshop: What Makes for Good Support? (Online)
Join Carer Coach Gerald online to build strong support networks and grow health relationships.
This two-hour online workshop explores What Makes Good Support?
Caring can be deeply rewarding, but it's important to recognize when your emotional or physical "cup" is filling — signs of stress, fatigue, or overwhelm. Knowing your limits and having strategies in place to manage pressure is key to sustaining your role. Building and maintaining strong circles of support — family, friends, professionals, or community groups — can provide relief and encouragement. At the same time, focusing on open communication, empathy, and mutual respect helps strengthen your relationship with the person you support, creating a healthier dynamic for both of you.
Please note: You must be registered with Carer Gateway to attend (we can assist with new registrations for eligible participants).
