The workshop covers the benefits of cloth nappies (environmental, financial), the different styles, how to wash them, and simple tips and tricks to make cloth super easy. With over 60 nappies and accessories, you can check out not only cloth nappies, but also other reusables such as pull-ups, swim nappies and cloth wipes.

About the presenter

Elana is the owner of Cloth Nappy Workshops Melbourne and its active Facebook group with over 1,400 members.

Elana lives a minimalist and low waste lifestyle, with two young children who spent a combined 5 years in cloth nappies. She has a degree in Social Science (Environment) and is passionate about reducing the environmental impact of households, but also understands the pressures of modern life and balancing work and children. Elana has spent the last few years running workshops, having presented at a number of Council events and festivals.

This workshop is free, but booking is essential.

Hybrid session:

This workshop can be joined either online or in person. We will provide a dedicated location for the session, but if you are unable to attend in person you can still join the workshop online via the Zoom link.

Elana will be presenting remotely online, accompanied by presentation slides, and will showcase different types of nappies and how to use them. This will still be a live session so you can ask any questions you have about the nappies.
