Classical & Beyond - Van-Anh Nguyen & Ezmi Pepper
Performing piano and cello duos of Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Mendelssohn through to Hans Zimmer and reimagined classical works.
Australian born ARIA nominated concert pianist and Universal/Decca/Deutsche Grammophon recording artist Van-Anh Nguyen is a worldwide sensation and in-demand artist. She currently has 10 albums released. Having recently performed as a soloist with the Boston Pops Orchestra, her versatility as a pianist span from classical through to creative mash ups, blending and bending genres.
Born to Vietnamese musicians and having started piano studies at the tender age of 13 months old, VanAnh gave her Sydney Opera House debut at age 8. She has since performed in major concert halls such as Shanghai Oriental Arts Centre (China), Herbst Theatre (USA), Segerstrom Center of the Arts (USA). She has performed on all 7 continents and has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, Elle Magazine Vietnam, Marie Claire (Australia), The Today Show, ABC to name a few as a classical music icon.
Perfect Pairings is Van-Anh’s personal concept, coined in 2015 through her genuine love of music and wine. It has led her to collaborate with winemakers, restaurants, sommeliers across 8 different countries.

Joining Van-Anh is cellist Ezmi Pepper. Originally from Canberra, Ezmi is a Sydney Conservatorium alumni. She is principal cellist of The Metropolitan Orchestra as well as a member of the Sydney Cello Quartet. She has performed with Nigel Kennedy, 2Cellos and with the Ministry of Sound Classical events.
