Parisian Time Step is an intimate and charming cabaret that blends French chanson, jazz, tap dance, and storytelling, taking audiences on a journey through the rich musical history of Paris. The show is both entertaining and immersive, offering a unique cultural experience set in the heart of Paris.

Created by Paris based, Sydney bred writer-performer Ruby Boukabou, with jazzed-up arrangements by French pianist Philippe Petit and choreography by Franco-Australian Wendy Lee Taylor, this production has captivated audiences in both France and Australia since 2023.

Now, Parisian Time Step is coming back to Sydney for one show only at Claire’s Kitchen.

It’s one of the last performances at this mythic venue on ‘the Paris end’ of Oxford Street before it closes forever!

Drawing from Paris’ history and the casts’ own fun Parisian anecdotes, the show seamlessly blends nostalgia, history, humour and zest, creating an unforgettable experience. From the poignant love songs of the Age of Enlightenment to the lively polkas of the Belle Époque; from glamorous 1930s music halls to the golden age of jazz in the 1940s and '50s, Parisian Time Step celebrates the city’s musical legacy. The journey continues through the Left Bank jazz revolution of the 1960s, culminating in toe-tapping originals of the 2000s. Each song tells a story, evoking the essence of different Parisian neighbourhoods, eras, and cultural movements.

Taking place on 27th December the dinner & show soirée makes the perfect end of year treat or fancy Christmas present!
