YOU! Everyone is welcome at Civic Saturday regardless of citizenship, political affiliation, race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, or economic status. By citizens, we mean those who live here with or without official papers.

Is this in the church on the corner of W Market and N Rose?

Yes, but it's no longer a church. Civic Saturday Akron is hosted by Highland Square residents Kristy and Joe in their home, formerly known as Market Street Fellowship, on the corner of N Rose Blvd and W Market St.

Is public transportation available?

YES! The Metro RTA 1 bus stops right out front on the corner of W Market and N Rose Blvd. www.yourmetrobus.org

Is there parking?

Street parking is available throughout Highland Square. 
Limited spots are available in lot next to entrance for those needing assistance.

No. Civic Saturday Akron is hosted by a grassroots non-partisan all-inclusive group of Akron residents. While our gathering is inspired by Citizen University's Civic Saturday model, we have no financial backing or support from any organization.
