Event description

Description

For Queensland Small Business Week we want Ipswich businesses to power ahead and one option to do this is moving to a circular economy.

The traditional ‘make, use, dispose’ linear economy is costing businesses, suppliers and customers the earth.

The solutions can be found in the circular economy – a system that minimises waste, makes the most of resources and is creating new opportunities for small and large businesses to generate economic, social and natural capital.

But how can you implement these principles in your business – and what benefit will it have to your bottom line?

Hear from Coreo founders Jaine and Ashleigh Morris who have successfully been putting the circular economy into practice with Queensland businesses.

Circular economy business models can:

  • Offer new commercial opportunities
  • Contribute to business growth and sustainability
  • Generate new revenue
  • Transform a business’s relationship with its customers
  • Protect our economy against resource shortages and the rising cost of materials

As well as hearing from the experts, tips for businesses on saving money across energy, water and waste bills will also be available by ecoBiz Queensland.

We look forward to seeing you and supporting Ipswich business opportunities.
