Circle of Security 8-Week Parenting Program
Overview
Mackillop Family Services is joining forces with Mercy Health’s FaPMI (Families where a Parent has a Mental Illness) to Co-Facilitate the Circle of Security Parenting Program.
Mercy Health’s FaPMI (Families where a Parent has a Mental Illness) program aims to facilitate positive mental health and well-being for parents, their children, and families. By influencing and promoting family-inclusive practices, FaPMI supports positive outcomes for all family members.
MacKillop Family Services Western Parenting Program offers a range of parenting courses throughout the year. At MacKillop, we believe every child deserves the best—a safe and supportive family where they are nurtured to reach their full potential.
What you will learn over the 8-week course:
· To understand your child’s emotional world by learning to read the emotional needs
· To support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions
· To enhance the development of your child's self-esteem
· To honour your innate wisdom and desire for your child to be secure
Who? For parents living in the Western suburbs of Melbourne with children from Birth to 6 years old living in Brimbank City Council, City of Melbourne, Hobsons Bay City Council, Maribyrnong City Council, Melton City Council, Moonee Valley City Council and Wyndham City Council.
Cost? FREE light refreshments are also provided
When? 8 x Friday's 10am- 12pm, 6th of Feburary to 27th of June 2026

Free childminding on-site is provided. If you have a younger bub and would like to have your baby with you to feed, soothe and settle in session, please feel most welcome
