About this event

Welcome to the 2023 CIRCA/Australasian Immunogenomics Symposium.

After a few years of online zoom conferences, we are thrilled to be able to run this as an in-person event.

This symposium will focus on all aspects of inborn errors, and will showcase the major advances made in this field across Australasia. It will precede the annual ASCIA meeting that will be held in Sydney from 5-8th Sept. So if you are coming to Sydney for ASCIA, please extend your stay to hear all the latest around monogenic primary immunodeficiencies and causing immune dysregulation.

We are very excited to announce that Prof Anne Puel from Imagine Institute Paris will be the Keynote speaker.

We are looking to include in the program talks selected from abstracts submitted by delegates interested in giving oral presentations. Topics/themes of different sessions will include:

  • patient diagnoses and outcomes from next-generation sequencing,
  • functional validation of novel variants/VUS leading to diagnoses,
  • fascinating/challenging case reports,
  • rare but geographically common variants causing severe diseases,
  • research studies using patients with (and animal models of) inborn errors of immunity

We look forward to welcoming you to Sydney and to the Garvan for what will be a terrific, inclusive and engaging symposium.
