Christmas Wreath Workshop with Native Botanicals

Craft a festive wreath from foraged, recycled, dried and fresh native botanicals, naturally-dyed silk ribbons and Christmas decorations.

Adele Rae Cameron is a Canberra-based textile and floral artist. Adele’s work includes floral designs and sculptures, crafting floral arrangements and installations primarily from locally-foraged organic materials and salvaged flowers and foliage.

Textiles are botanically dyed using locally foraged materials and green waste donated from floral artists. The premise is to reduce waste in the textile and floristry industries and to find more sustainable ways to create designs through her art practice.

This workshop will use foraged, recycled, dried and fresh Australian native botanicals to create a wreath for the festive season. There will be a selection of naturally dyed silk ribbons and Christmas decorations to add to your wreath to enhance the Christmas spirit.
