Overview

Create a stunning handmade Christmas wreath on a peaceful deck nestled in the Brisbane Hills District, surrounded by nature.

Create a stunning handmade Christmas wreath on a peaceful deck nestled in the North Brisbane Hills District (Ferny Hills), surrounded by nature, tall trees and the sounds of native birds. This intimate two-hour workshop invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy a creative morning overlooking the bush.

Using Australian native elements such as dried eucalyptus leaves, gumnuts, seed pods and foraged foliage, you’ll be guided step-by-step in crafting your own natural festive wreath. Learn techniques for arranging native textures, shaping balanced designs, and creating a piece full of warmth, character, and the beauty of the Australian landscape.

No experience is needed — just bring your curiosity and creativity.

Your workshop includes:

  • A natural rattan wreath base (approx. 35cm)
  • A curated selection of dried and foraged Australian botanicals
  • Tools and twine provided
  • Individual guidance and design instruction
  • Tips on styling and caring for your wreath

You’ll also enjoy a gentle morning tea featuring:

  • Japanese tea
  • Herbal infusions
  • A selection of delicate sweet treats

At the end of the session, your finished wreath will be yours to take home and hang proudly as a festive, nature-inspired decoration. Some of the photos are from previous workshops including a work team.

Spaces are limited to ensure a calm, hands-on experience.

Come join us for a beautiful morning of creativity, connection and Christmas spirit.
