Come and join in a Garden Party with live music to celebrate the launch of the Kurunjang Community Gardening Project.

Come and join in a Christmas Garden Party to celerate the launch of the Kurunjang Community Gardening Project.

The garden party will have food, drinks and live music in the Kurunjang Community Garden, and alongside the garden party will be the regular Friday Market for The Community Grocer.

Tickets are strictly limited for the Garden Party for catering purposes, but the fresh produce market is open for everyone.

The Garden Party will celebrate the launch of a new partnership project between Eat Grow Garden (also known as We Love Aintree) and Melton City Council. Over the next year, Eat Grow Garden will be working with local residents, school groups and volunteers to:

  • Grow more produce at the Kurunjang Community Garden
  • Build gardening skills and confidence to grow food at home
  • Strengthen the communities connections to affordable fresh food options
  • Engage with local students in hands on gardening projects
