Cooking is our passion at The Hunter's Pantry. We have the kitchenware, tableware, culinary books, specialty foods and the in-house expertise to fuel your inspiration and take your inner foodie to new heights. The store includes a delicatessen, cheese counter and a large cooking school that hosts classes on average 3 times per week. The Hunter's Pantry  is also the premier specialty food supplier to restaurants, cafes and catering businesses in the Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Port Stephens and Lake Macquarie regions. We service and deliver to these areas on a weekly basis.

The Essential Ingredient Newcastle

In this 3-hour interactive / demonstration-style class, watch as <a href="https://www.deangibsonpastrychef.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dean Gibson</a> teaches you to make his absolute favourite chocolate bon-bons and other delicious treats whilst he builds a one meter chocolate Viking ship in the Essential Ingredient cooking school. Dean will demonstrate how to make -<ul><li>Ultimate hot chocolate
</li><li>Passionfruit French style truffle
</li><li>Intense raspberry bars
</li><li>Salted caramel (reduced sugar method)
</li><li>Crispy crunchy chocolate clusters
</li></ul>Dean will show you how to make classic French and Swiss-style chocolates, as you get hands-on and learn how to fill and form your own chocolate bar!To Do List:
<ul><li>Wear closed toe shoes (we love your toes where they are),
</li><li>Pull long hair back off your face (“waiter, there’s a hair in my soup”),
</li><li>Inform us of any dietary requirements prior to purchasing your ticket/s. Please also be aware that some requirements and/or allergies cannot be catered to – depending on the class.
