No matter what kind of needs and questions you have about tea, this series of workshops will deepen your understanding appreciation for tea that has been enjoyed for thousands of years.

Join us at Ryde Library for a FREE Chinese Tea Appreciation workshops to explore the world of Chinese Tea. This interactive workshop is presented in English and Mandarin and suitable for all levels of tea drinkers whether you're curious beginner wondering how to start your Chinese Tea journey to a seasoned tea drinker to deepen your appreciation behind each cup.

There will be opportunity for Q&A in this intimate session.

We will learn some brief history about tea:

• The earliest use as medicine
• The use as food
• The first known monograph of tea
• Different teawares
• How tea has been appreciated throughout history
• How tea and the tea ceremony has evolved to suit modern day living
