Join us at Ryde Library for a Free Round Fan Painting Workshop to celebrate Chinese New Year, and experience the beauty of traditional Chinese art by creating your own round fan.

• Start with a 20-minute talk on the history and cultural significance of Chinese fans — from daily life and classical literature to their symbolism in art and festivals.
• Partnering with the Sydney Hanfu Association (汉服在悉尼), this beginners-friendly workshop guides participants (12 years old and above) in painting their own round fans (团扇 tuánshàn) and exploring Chinese aesthetics and Lunar New Year floral symbolism.

All materials and supplies are provided:

• A blank fan with pre-outlined floral designs (lotus, orchid, osmanthus, lily)
• Paint and brush kits

为庆祝农历新年，欢迎参加我们的团扇绘画工作坊，亲手创作属于自己的团扇，感受传统中国艺术之美。 活动将以英语及普通话进行，参与者须年满16岁。

• 活动将以 20 分钟讲座 开始，介绍中国扇子的历史与文化意义——从日常生活与古典文学，到其在艺术与节庆中的象征意义。
• 本工作坊与悉尼汉服协会合作举办，适合初学者,参加者将在指导下绘制团扇（团扇 tuánshàn），同时探索中国美学与春节花卉图案的象征意义。活动将以英语及普通话进行，参与者须年满12岁。

提供所有材料和用品, 包括扇子、颜料和画笔。
