Children's Writing and Creative Class Characters and Settings.

This class is for children age 7-12 to make up characters and settings and write story openings based on what they learn.

In this class, children consider a character's motivations, likes, goals, fears, hopes and how this can help to drive the plot. We also cover the importance of settings and how they are presented to the audience.

Children learn about descriptive writing, and how this is appied to characters and settings.

The children are given a number of prompts, and have the choice of various options to focus on.

All materials provided.

Guided writing with examples and group activities.

Update: I have now added a couple more photos to show the location more clearly. Take the little laneway in front of the library and the entrance is next to the hairdresser. Location is the second floor.
