The Child Safe Sport virtual workshop provides informative and practical training for volunteers and paid staff who oversee junior sporting competitions. This seminar is a blend of legal obligations, contemporary risk management strategies and anecdotal evidence that has led to better practice within Australian junior sport.
Topics include:
• Risk areas in sport
• How the law helps to protect children and young people in sport
• What systems and practices are working
• The role of Government in helping sports protect children and young people
