Join Barry the Cheeseman for a cheesy adventure, where you'll learn the art of making delicious cheese from scratch!
This is an action-packed fun filled hands-on cheesemaking experience that runs for six hours. All ingredients and consumables are provided, We also provide lunch and refreshments, including lots of cheese to taste.
In our Hands-on Course, you’ll discover how to create a variety of popular cheeses right in your own kitchen with your own hands right from scratch, using simple ingredients including supermarket milk, from as little as $10/kg!
You will learn how to make:
1. Camembert
2. Danish Blue
3. Mozzarella
4. Bocconcini
5. Burrata
6. Mascarpone
7. Feta
8. Halloumi
9. Farmhouse Cheddar
10. Cottage Cheese
11. Ricotta
Whether you're looking to impress your friends with homemade Mozzarella, Camembert, Feta, Halloumi or just enjoy fresh, flavourful cheeses daily, this workshop is perfect for you!
Each cheese is easy to make from standard supermarket milk, affordable & perfect for adding variety to your meals at home or entertaining. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, our hands-on approach will guide you every step of the way. You get to take home at least 1.5kg of the cheeses that are made at the workshop.
We will also teach you how to store & mature your cheeses, a process that enhances the flavour of the cheeses. You will be able to store your cheese indefinitely & bring them out for eating when you want.

The tickets for this workshop are $199 each. To purchase tickets, select “Get tickets” from the main event page. Select the numbers of tickets that you want to purchase and then select check out.
We offer limited numbers of Early Bird tickets at $179 each up to two months before the workshop.
We also offer Group booking (4+) tickets at $149 per person (subject to availability). If there are any remaining Group booking tickets, they will be listed on the ticket screen. Select the number (minimum of 4) that you want to purchase and then select check out.
Terms & conditions
• enrolments will be accepted in the order of booking until all tickets are sold
• the workshop maybe cancelled if insufficient numbers of participants enrol
• there will be full refund payable if the workshop is cancelled by the organiser
• if you decide to cancel, a refund of fees will be made upon receipt of a written request emailed to cheesewithbarry@gmail.com, 7 days prior to the event.
• you can substitute 3rd parties if you are not able to attend the workshop
