Step into a dreamy mixed-media session where soft charcoal lines meet the gentle glow of watercolour washes.
In this 2-hour creative workshop, you’ll explore mark-making, texture, colour, and the beautiful contrast between dry and wet media. We’ll play, loosen up, and discover how unexpected combinations can create expressive, atmospheric artwork.

This workshop is ideal for beginners, hobby artists, and anyone seeking a mindful and exploratory art experience. You’ll walk away with new techniques, mini-studies, and a renewed sense of creative freedom.

Do I need any experience?

Not at all — this session is beginner-friendly and welcoming to all skill levels.

Are materials included?

Yes! Charcoal, watercolour paints, brushes, paper and palettes are all provided.

What should I bring?

Just yourself, a water bottle, and clothes you don’t mind getting a little creative in.

Can I get a refund?
Yes. Contact the organiser directly to arrange a transfer to another workshop.

Will I get a reminder before the workshop?
Yes — we’ll send you an email reminder with the exact meeting details 2 days before the event.

Will I receive anything after the workshop?
Yes — you’ll receive a digital handout for post-workshop practice at home.

This workshop is designed for adults, but older teens are welcome with a guardian.

We’ll be indoors at Melbourne Central Skybridge, so the session will go ahead as planned.

2. Head to Level 1 and find the CUE store (Shop 123/211 La Trobe St).
3. Walk a little further down the corridor.
4. You’ll see "The Between" Skybridge — a glass bridge linking Melbourne Central to Emporium Melbourne over Lonsdale Street.
