A free workshop for ages 12-18 with Bill Hope, learn character design, drawing faces, anatomy & posing, and bring your creations to life!

Time: 10 – 11.30 am
In this workshop Bill will help participants bring their characters to life! You will learn the basics of anatomical drawing, explore costumes and find ways to make characters move through perspective and foreshortening. During the workshop you will design a character and then draw them in a posed action scene.
Extra info: No drawing experience required.
Artist Bio:
Bill Hope is an artist and illustrator living in the Blue Mountains. As a commercial illustrator he has worked for everyone from Disney and Amazon to Taronga Zoo and Sydney Children’s Hospital. Today his work is largely focussed on his collaboration with best-selling author Andy Griffiths. He has published over 10 illustrated books, held a series of solo exhibitions and has ongoing representation through the Lost Bear Fine Art Gallery. His graphic novel ‘An Interior Life’ won the Golden Ledger award for Australian Comics.
