Place Leaders Asia Pacific and the NSW Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) are partnering on a unique two-day event on 17 and 18 March. This online and in-person event will explore what is changing, how to manage change and preparing for future opportunities to deliver great public space outcomes.

In support of the recently released Smart Places Customer Charter and the Smart Public Spaces Guide by the DPE Smart Places and Public Spaces teams, the online conference on Thursday 17 March will feature leading Australian and New Zealand perspectives on the intersection of change management, technology and public space leadership.

IN-PERSON WORKSHOP Hosted by Smart Places, DPE
This workshop will explore ways that connected technologies can help deliver great place outcomes; enhancing the visitor experience, and improving our ability to design and manage public spaces. You will be introduced to existing tools, new ideas and be challenged to identify the steps needed to make change.
Insights gained through your participation will help inform an Action Plan, and a forward work program for the State Government to stimulate and support uptake of technologies and data solutions.
