About this event

If you’re working casually or in insecure employment, then this event is for you!

You’ve probably heard about the IR omnibus bill in the news recently – but what exactly is it, and what does it mean for you?

Join JobWatch for these two targeted webinars as we break down what the recent IR omnibus bill (Fair Work Amendment Bill 2020) means for you, with a focus on the legislative changes to the definition of ‘casuals’ in the workplace, and processes for transitioning to permanent employment.

These events will be driven by you and your questions – so make sure you submit your questions to the presenters before the webinars. There will be a Q&A function available throughout the webinars as well.

Dates and Times

  • Tuesday 18 May, 4 – 5pm (for young people)
  • Wednesday 19 May, 1 – 2pm (for women)

While each webinar will be geared more towards a specific audience, we welcome registrations from all casual workers for the session that works best for them.
