Description

Presentation Summary:

What is it about Agile that is so good? Why should we move to Agile and what benefits will it ACTUALLY bring?

In this session we will explore the ways to utilise Agile in a number of environments without getting hung up on the language and ceremonies that seem to confound new practitioners.

Speaker Biography: Stu Horyna, Department of Human Services, Portfolio Project Office

Stu is an advocate of all things requirements. Having started his career over 30 years ago as a developer and turning to analysis early on, he has become passionate in his pursuit of techniques and processes to assist projects in gaining the most out of their requirements management practises. Stu is a recent convert to agile practises and is keen on ensuring the cross over from Mode 1 to Mode 2 and all things in between area managed and understood without fear or mis-information. Stu’s current role in the Department of Human Services, Portfolio Project Office is to develop an Agile toolkit and introduce Agile practises to an otherwise waterfall organisation.
