About this event

  • 2 hours

Sink your hands into the wonderful feeling of fresh clay at this two-hour ceramics hand building workshop. If you're looking for fun things to do in Mount Lawley and you're eager to try your hand at ceramics, give this workshop a go!

This class is a great option both for absolute beginners and people who want to extend their knowledge of working with clay - all levels of experience are welcome and will be accommodated. You will be guided by a talented teacher step-by-step through the process of hand building your own creation, and you will have loads of fun doing it.

Relax while sipping on some local wines and graze on complimentary snacks throughout the class, to keep your energy and spirits up. You will be inspired to make something special to add to your own home or give as a unique gift to someone special.

After the class, your teacher will glaze and fire your work in the colour of your choice, for you to collect from Soul Collective once finished in approximately three to four weeks time.

Organised by

A little glimpse of West Wave Ceramics and me, Susi Koessler, maker and owner of this local business.

I am driven to produce handmade pieces for the contemporary home, enriching life’s beauty, joy, nourishment and celebration.

My work is made and inspired locally by the Indian Ocean and the lifestyle I am fortunate to experience here on whadjuk noongar boodjar.

Each piece is a one-off, unique design and often has several hours of work behind it. My aim is to enhance the home, live life slow and enliven the spirit with my ceramics creations.
