Celtic Women's Circle

Celtic Women's Circle

Burnley BackyardMelbourne, VIC
Thursday, Feb 12 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm AEDT
Overview

Join us for a magical celebration of Goddess Brígid, where we'll gather in circle to honour her powerful energy.

Our gathering will take place in a wonderful community setting, with indoor and outdoor seating. It promises a warm and inviting space, thoughtfully curated to honour the Celtic Goddess Brígid through a tapestry of experiences.

Together, we will weave story, ritual, and craft to explore the rich symbolism that surrounds her, drawing on both Pagan and Christian contexts to capture the full picture of how Brígid came to be. Throughout the evening, you will find moments for personal reflection and take part in shared discussions within smaller groups.

This gathering is for women of all ages seeking to connect with like-minded women, learn something new, and celebrate the powerful presence of Brígid.

Circle Unfoldings:
❈ Storytelling and the essence behind our gathering to celebrate Brígid
❈ Ancient crafting, make your own Brígid’s Cross and learn about its profound symbolism
❈ Guided meditation and reflective journaling
❈ Poetry sharing
❈ Herbal teas and light refreshments

10% of profits will be donated to Refuge Victoria.
Refuge Victoria provides specialist family violence support services and crisis accommodation for people escaping family violence.

FADÓ, meaning long ago in the Irish language, began in late 2023, born from a deep desire to reconnect with my Celtic culture. Now calling Naarm (Melbourne) home, it feels even more important to bring the vision of FADÓ into the world and share it in community.

Facilitated by:

🧚🏻 Jennette (she/her)

An Irish native with a diverse background across the social sector, centred on community, mental health, and wellbeing. Jennette is passionate about the arts as a healing modality and about cultivating spaces where people can gather, reflect, and connect. She holds a deep love for storytelling, poetry, and improv practices she believes spark curiosity, creativity, and the quiet magic of being human.

What to bring: an open mind, your favourite journal, a pen, and a bottle of water
