About this event
Celestial Events create community events for the fantasy bookish community to meet up "in real life". We encourage attendees to dress up, and get transported to the pages of thier favourite books.
Celestial Events hosts a range of events from Celestial Festival, Celestial Ball, Celestial Archery, Celestial Paint and Sip, Celestial High Tea, Celestial Yoga and more. Welcome to the Celestial Riders Gathering!
Be one of the very select few to join us for a night to celebbrate dragons, riders, and all things fantasy! Only 100 tickets are available to join us to enjoy quiz activities, best dressed, collectables swap and merch sales with your new bookish best friends. Come alone or with others, our event caters for everyone who is a fantasy fan at heart!
Our beautiful roof top venue will have you thinking you are about to set flight into the sky! (Undercover option is available in case of Qld weather).

Frequently asked questions
Yes there is wheelchair access to W HOTEL WET DECK
Yes you can just come for the dress up and the fun! You don't have to have attended any other events prior and you can come solo - we love looking after newbies to the group.
Yes we accept any gender - so long as you love fantasy you are in the right spot!
As this is a licenced event, you must be 18 years to attend. But there is no limit to your age - even if you are in your 70's there is a place for you!
That is all fine! Lots of solo attendees are expected, and there will be lots of fun activities so you will never feel alone!
The venue expects smart casual, so YES be a Rider, but keep this in mind. Men need shirts on and ladies still need to be respectfully dressed (not too smutty!)
You absolutely can dress up and cosplay. You DO NOT have to though - if you feel better dressed as yourself that is totally fine. This is a non-judgment inclusive space for all.
We are happy to put you in touch with the next person on the waitlist so you can transfer your ticket and we can help facilitate this. Name transfers are free and we are happy to help.
The venue can cater for 100 people.
There is a waitlist and there are ALWAYS people who can't make it for some reason, so please add your name and as soon as a ticket becomes available we will put you in touch.

No. Limited grazing boards will be served and one drink on arrival. You can order anything you want if you are still hungry or want to order more drinks though. The grazing boards will cater for all different dietary requirements.

By purchasing a ticket the Ticket Holder accepts that the Event Manager has no liability in respect of any personal injury or loss of personal property occasioned to or by the Ticket Holder whilst attending or in transit to or from the event.
Grazing Boards will suit a variety of dietary requirements, just ask on the night if unsure. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
No only the Eventbrite ticket will be issued, you will need to show this ticket and ID on arrival.
No sorry this is a non-weapon event. There will be plastic swords available for photoshoot opportunities.
