Celestial Events are non-licensed, non-official, fan-based events where we worship our favourite authors and get to dress up and try and relive our fantasy moments together.
Join us as we try to bring literature into reality, where new friends meet and pages come alive.
Join us for an enchanting evening at the Celestial Festival Masqueade Ball, where you can step into the pages of your favourite books and immerse yourself in a world of fantasy, magic, and wonder.
This extraordinary inaugural event is designed to bring book lovers together, creating an unforgettable experience filled with entertainment, surprises, and the opportunity to make new friends who share your passion for literature.

Yes! There are non-alcoholic options.
Yes the ambulant facilities are: A portable ramp to enter the dining room; alternatively 2 small steps with a handrail to enter the dining room and Ambulant bathroom located just off the dining room.
Yes we accept any gender - so long as you love fantasy you are in the right spot!
As this is a licenced event, you must be 18 years to attend. But there is no limit to your age - even if you are in your 70's and love fantasy then there is a place for you!
Yes your ticket needs to be the name on your ID and you must be over 18 years old to attend.
This will be announced to the ticket holders prior to the event. It is a short walk from the QVB building.
The Hilton Sydney is the official hotel - the link to access our special group booking price is https://bit.ly/3ZOLXB7 this is for $315 special rate with an optional $35 breakfast. The hotel is a few meters away from all the events, and easy to stop in and get changed etc.
No - this is just super handy as it is right near all the events.
That is all fine! Lots of solo attendees are expected, and there will be lots of fun activities so you will never feel alone!
Elegant cocktail attire or your favourite Starfall-inspired ballgown and lounge suit for the men.
You absolutely can dress up and cosplay, and we would love to see some wings and ballgowns in character. But you do not have to! Just make sure you feel amazing, so wear something that makes you feel great!
The venue has stipulated no replica weapons will be permitted ... so you will need to leave these ones behind please on this occasion.

We are happy to put you in touch with the next person on the waitlist so you can transfer your ticket and we can help facilitate this. Name transfers are free and we are happy to help.
The Tea Rooms at QVB caters for 300 people maximum.
There is a waitlist and there are ALWAYS people who can't make it for some reason, so please add your name and as soon as a ticket becomes available we will put you in touch.

The payment option I chose was Paypal specifically so you can "pay-in-4". This is a function you can apply to with Paypal. You can also click the link and simply choose to pay on credit card and not use Paypal. Afterpay was not an option for tickets - they only provide on clothing/merch etc.
No this is a cocktail-style standing event - so we can move around and dance! You will be served cool canapes, larger style hot canapes and hot fork dishes - plenty of food and drinks will circulate all night.
The Sydney event is completely unique. While Brisbane is a full weekend festival for Starfall, Sydney is a dark and mysterious Under the Mountain Masquerade so the tickets and events are different and not interchangeable. There is an official thread reselling tickets at cost price in the FB group.
