Celestial Events are non-licensed, non-official, fan-based events where we worship our favourite authors and get to dress up and try and relive our fantasy moments together.​

Join us as we try to bring literature into reality, where new friends meet and pages come alive.

ABOUT YOUR COURT-STYLE DANCE MEET AND GREET

Join us in Perth for one of the official Meet and Greet Events ... the much anticipated Court Style Dance Group. What better a way if you are planning on attending solo to come and meet some of your fellow guests prior. Or of course, bring your besite or your lucky male or female chaperone along for the fun. This is exactly what you have all been asking for ... read on!

COURT STYLE DANCE

One of the most anticipated events at the Celestial Ball is the dance choreography by our expert dancer. This is where they lead the entire audience through an (easy) choreography court-style dance so you can feel as if you were literally dancing at a Celestial Events Starfall Ball under the night sky with your easy steps in hand. This meet and greet class goes one step further ...

Come to one of our sessions during the day, and learn the steps in adance. This is a mix between an ice-breaker event, a dance lesson, and a chance to meet new people before the ball on the night. It also means when the group session is announced at the ball, no need to nerves as you already know the steps!

TICKETS

A very private group of only 20 attendees will be welcomed to a very private dance skills workshop.

The event will take place at the Official Hotel - The QT Hotel in our own private function room space.

You will have an introduction session, warm up, ice breaker then about 40 minutes to have some dancing fun! Most importantly this is a great chance to make personal conenctions for any solo voyagers coming along alone. Or if you want to come with a partner or a friend that is fine too! The spirit of the day is to make sure you say hi to the other members (only 20 of you!) so you know at least a few extra faces to say hello to at the ball.

• Entry to the QT Hotel function room space for the 45 minute session
• Collectable gift on arrival
• 1 professional, qualified dance instructor
• 45 minute introduction class to court style dance
• Photo opportunity
• Meet and greet fun ice breakers with other attendees to meet people prior to the ball.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR KIMBERLY PAYNE

Dancing has always been a sense of escapism, a chance to perform and feel a part of something that isn't just our everyday lives. Being fortunate enough to dance for over 15 years now, I must say that there is something so magical and freeing about it, especially when you get the chance to dance with so many fantasy lovers in a stunning venue while being all dressed up in our celestial best! I mean, who doesn't want that!

I have had the privilege of performing with my crew 'AO Crew' on stage and on our YouTube channel, as well as competing in numerous competitions and being a part of projects such as Converse, BlackPink, Australia's Got Talent, and more. When Carly reached out to me, I knew that I would give all my skills and passion for not only this ball but all events to come from Celestial Events. I hope I can help make this ball magical and a night to remember!I am an avid reader and have been since I was young. I adore fantasy (with or without romance) and it truly brings me so much joy that we can experience some of those moments and adventures that we all love to read about in our real lives. I hope to make new friends and strengthen the bonds of old ones. Whether it be to twirl on the dance floor with you or help take some gorgeous photos in your stunning outfit, I am your girl and I can't wait for this night to come!'My favourite book is ACOWAR and my favourite character is Elide!
