About your MURDER MYSTERY....

For three weeks, vampires around the world have been murdered at an alarming rate by the Global Vampire Slayer. Stat LeBacourt, the leader of the International Vampire Coven and most powerful vampire in the world, has called an emergency meeting of vampires at the Red Haven Cottage in Three Forks, Colorado. You've been summoned, and plan to attend. This is where your story begins.

(your fantasy role will be allocated at your time of retreat booking with further information - please note that roles for this are predominately she/her)

Meet your yoga instructor and co-host Victoria..I was born and raised in New York and moved to Australia in 2016. Now, I live in Perth with my husband and two fluffy Samoyeds.

I completed my Pilates training in 2022 and my 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training last year. I am also qualified in first aid and CPR.

In my free time, I love performing and choreographing musicals. I've been in productions like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Phantom of the Opera, and choreographed shows like The Wedding Singer and Kinky Boots.

When not performing, I enjoy camping, the beach, and reading. My favorite series is Zodiac Academy, and my top read this year is Spark of the Everflame by Penn Cole.

I’m excited for the reading retreat to connect with fellow book lovers. I look forward to sharing my passion for books and enjoying the supportive community of the Celestial Inner Circle.

So let's make that really clear

Here are the inclusions:

  1. Two nights accommodation in an ideallic setting with your bookish friends. There are a mix of separate bedrooms, and rooms with multiple beds, it is more of a "sleepover" feeling and getting to know your friends than staying in a hotel with totally separate rooms. We are sharing the house all together to catch up. However there is plenty of space on the grounds if you need alone time and want to read by yourself.
  2. All meals included, welcome grazing platter and cider tasting (or non-alcoholic version), Italian order-in dinner, popcorn and rockyroad for movie and games night, breakfasts (please choose at checkout when booking), grazing style lunch, chef prepared dinner and dessert and daily breakfasts.
  3. Book
  4. Welcome Gift
  5. Yoga each morning (professional qualified coach with mats provided)

What you need to bring:

  1. Your own alcohol or what you prefer to drink. We are going to have a lot of fun at our murder mystery night and our games night, but we don't want sore heads or anyone sick. So while we say bring your own alcohol, please don't bring excessive amounts as this is not the vibe for the weekend. While there will be OJ for breakfast and non-alcoholic options ... if your life is not complete without Coke or Red Bull etc please bring these along, or any other comfort foods or speciality items you require (special sugar, milks etc). We will try and cater for everyone, but if it is really important - bring it along just in case.
  2. A big smile
  3. Swimmers

Pricing:

$900 per person all inclusive - can be paid off with monthly payments of $100 until paid down.

It's a reading retreat ... so what will you be reading you ask??

Mayhem and the Mortal by Shanora Williams

Dungeons & Dragons meets The Wizard of Oz in this darkly hilarious romantasy adventure in which a young woman who will do anything to rescue her sister from an evil sorcerer's curse hires a ruthless assassin.

After a dark sorcerer curses her sister, Zaira must find a way to save her only living relative before they die. In order for that to happen, she has to enter a deadly temple no man has ever survived to reach the Prosperity Stone.

As a mere mortal in Thelanor living amongst magic wielders and beasts who blend in with their society, it seems there’s no way she can survive such a mission.

That is until she stumbles across Thane Valkor, a mysterious, brooding man of few words. One look at Thane and not only does Zaira feel an irritatingly profound connection to him, but she comes to the realization that he is exactly the person she needs in order to save her sister’s life.
