An in-person gathering featuring a live-stream webcast of the Celebrating Women in Conservation Breakfast

Join us in celebrating the significant conservation contributions of women across Australia.

This is a celebratory and informal gathering to collectively watch (via live-stream presentation) the Annual Celebrating Women in Conservation Webinar that is being hosted by Bush Heritage Australia and Trust for Nature.

A keynote speach will begin from 9:10am, from Lisa Millaer, CEO at Wedgetail, which is an organisation accelerating the global shift to a nature-positive future. With a background in zoology and evolutionary biology, Lisa began her career as a scientist at the Australian Museum before moving into the tech sector in 2004.

  • Location: Blue Mountains Cultural Centre
  • Webinar time: the live-stream webinar will start at 8am - 10am
  • Tea & coffee and light snacks are available from 7:30am
  • Cost: free
  • Optional donation: to cover the cost of catering, a $15 donation option is provided.


This low-key event is being supported by the Key Agency Collaboration (BMCC, NPWS, BMWHI).We intend to keep it simple, and will gather, have coffee/tea + fruit/pastries available; and virtual steam the keynote from the in person event held in Melbourne put on by Bush Heritage and Trust for Nature:
